Picnic at Planters' Haven
Sime Darby Property takes great care in nurturing a bond between the company and the communities that we have helped build. This is in tandem with PRIME’s guiding principle to nurture relationships with members of the community as well as cultivating the same amongst home dwellers in the respective neighbourhoods.
On March 26, 2011, we organised a picnic in the garden at Planters’ Haven to continue to engage current residents and land owners and were pleased to receive a heartening response. Our guests arrived as early as 3pm and were attended to by Sime Darby Property’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team before being ushered to Alamanda Lake – one of the three man-made lakes on the property.
Henri Young, Head of Sime Darby Property Marketing Development (picture, left) thanked the guests for their participation and sustained support over the years. In a relaxed and casual atmosphere, activities were carried out for all family members, with rides for those avid horse lovers or leisurely boat paddling within the lake.
As guests absorbed the calm surroundings of the lakeside and lush orchard greeneries that enclose the 265 acre sprawl, they were served with a generous food spread and live jazz music, all topped with an invitation to guests to help themselves with freshly peeled and succulent durians from the property.
Planters’ Haven is in the process of undergoing a reinvigoration. Guests were briefed on the Vision Valley development in nearby Labu while landowners were encouraged to build their dream homes. Purchasers can choose from eight dierent designs to build or have their personal design within the stated agriculture rules.
