Eligibility Criteria

Below are the requirements in order to be
eligible to apply for SAMM

* Application for transfer of ownership is only allowed after 5 years from the Sales & Purchase Agreement (SPA), with the permission of the State Authority

* The validity period for each registered application is for 2 years. After that period, application data that is still on the WAITING LIST will be removed from the system and applicants will need to make a new application if they are still interested in applying again.

Required Documents

The following documents are required from the applicant and their spouse (if applicable)
  • CCRIS/CTOS Statement from Bank Negara Malaysia (COMPULSORY and with a 3 Months Validity Period of Document Only)
  • Copy of Identity Card
  • Copy of marriage certificate / divorce papers / death certificate of spouse (if applicable)
  • Confirmation of Single status by employer (using official letterhead by department/ company/stamp) OR by Commissioner for Oaths
    (if self-employed for applicants who are of Single status) (3 Months Validity Period of Document Only)
  • Latest 3 months payslip
  • Latest EPF statement (including withdrawal statement)
For different employment statuses, the following additional documents are required
  • Self-employed: Confirmation of self-employment by Commissioner for Oaths for self OR spouse & Latest EPF statement as proof of non-contribution
  • Unemployed: Confirmation of unemployment by Commissioner for Oaths & Latest EPF statement as proof of non-contribution
  • Copy of marriage certificate / divorce papers / death certificate of spouse (if applicable)
  • Retired: Copy of retirement card and pension statement for self OR spouse
  • Other sources of Income: Statement / voucher / payment receipts OR confirmation of other sources of income by Commissioner for Oaths
