For several years the company approached sustainability on a linear, step-by-step basis. This was not inherently incorrect but could be limiting in terms of impact, review processes and context.
Recently, the company has conceptualised sustainability and how it should be applied to provide integration and more impact; a cross-cutting ecosystem integrated from the top to the operational level. It is envisioned with various interrelated components within a diverse and ever-changing global and local socio-economic, environmental and political context.

To progressively deliver the company’s Vision, ‘Leader in Developing Sustainable Communities’ 18 Long-term Sustainability Goals have been developed. Approved by the Board of Directors, these quantifiable goals based on the potential of our landbank, provide the whole company balanced thematic focus to add further value to the company and our stakeholders. Most of the goals are cumulative 10 year goals, while some are goals where we set the target to be maintained from 2020 onwards, such as Goal 1 and 10.
