Sime Darby Property Secures 96% Take-Up for First Three Stages of Elmina Green Six in City of Elmina

  • The next and final stage, comprising 68 units of double storey linked homes with a built-up of up to 2,675 sq ft, will be open for public preview on 29 October 2022.

ARA DAMANSARA, 28 OCTOBER 2022 – Sime Darby Property Berhad (“Sime Darby Property” or “Company”) continues to deliver strong sales momentum for the Company’s recent residential launches with a combined 96% take-up rate for the first three stages of the flexi-linked Elmina Green Six homes in the City of Elmina, Shah Alam.

The City of Elmina is a wellness-oriented township that serves to enhance the overall well-being of its residents. It is designed to provide the community with comfort and balanced lifestyles complemented by the abundance of natural gardens and parks, such as the 300-acre Elmina Central Park that promotes physical and emotional wellness. The township is also home to Malaysia’s first Inclusive Playground for children with and without disabilities.

In addition to its all-rounded lifestyle offerings, the City of Elmina offers unmatched connectivity via the newly opened Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (“DASH”), which is expected to significantly reduce travel time to and from Kuala Lumpur. Located along the Guthrie Corridor in Shah Alam, the 6,500-acre township is also accessible via the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (“GCE”), the New Klang Valley Expressway (“NKVE”) and the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (“LATAR”).

Looking ahead, the remainder of the year is set to be more exciting for Sime Darby Property as the Company gears up for the preview of its next and final stage of Elmina Green Six on 29 October 2022, alongside activation of several key catalysts in the Elmina City Centre, including the city’s first neighbourhood mall and upcoming education hub.

Located by the neighbourhood central park, Stage 4 – which comprises 68 units of double-storey linked homes offering built-ups from 2,279 sq ft to 2,675 sq ft – carries a Gross Development Value (“GDV”) of RM68 million. The 22’ x 80’ linked homes each feature 4+1 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, with prices starting from RM994,888.

The Elmina Green Six homes boast a striking modern vernacular aesthetic with rustic brick veneer cladding, contrasting facade elements and pitched roofs. Each unit comes fitted with market leading specifications such as laminated timber flooring, premium sanitary wares, stone wool roof insulation and is complete with City of Elmina’s signature FittingsPlus+ that includes metal security grilles, built in air-conditioning piping, water booster pump and more.

Residents will enjoy three serene parks with 18 amenities within the Elmina Green Six neighbourhood. The lush 21-acre Sakura Lake Park and the 8-acre Infinity Park are also located just a short jog or cycle away. In addition to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and education institutions within and around the mature township, residents can look forward to exciting new features including the Elmina Lakeside Mall, the Urban Park and the Forest Park that will be completed soon.
