We would like to thank CIDB Malaysia for the recognition and we will continue to set the highest standards for the benefit of our customers and stakeholders”.
“Our QLASSIC results have shown tremendous improvements year-on-year and we are pleased to see the reduction in defects in many of our projects. All Sime Darby Property projects are subjected to our own stringent internal assessments before undergoing the QLASSIC quality assessments in the final stages. We take quality seriously and go the extra mile to deliver products that make our customers happy.”
The Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) is a system or method to measure and evaluate the workmanship quality of a building construction work based on the Construction Industry Standard (CIS 7:2014). QLASSIC enables the quality of workmanship between construction projects to be objectively compared through a scoring system.
According to CIDB Malaysia, QLASSIC assessments are carried out through site inspection and is based on the principles of first time inspection. Rectification works conducted after an assessment will not be re-assessed. The objective of this principle is to encourage the contractor to “Do Things Right the First Time and Every Time”.
