ARA DAMANSARA, 23 OCTOBER 2023: Malaysia’s premier golf and country club, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (“KLGCC” or “Club”) celebrated its debut at the recent ESG Positive Impact Awards with a Silver award for Energy Efficiency in the Environmental category (SMEs and Mid-Tier Companies).

Sime Darby Property’s winning campaigns exemplify the Company’s ongoing storytelling, and winning the MSA Awards 2023 solidifies its standing as the leading property developer.

This category recognises organisations that have proven their excellence in energy efficiency and conservation throughout their supply and value chain, developed the best energy-saving projects as well as demonstrated energy and carbon savings that are backed by data, with particular consideration for innovation and replicability.

Since 2013, KLGCC has established ISO 50001-certified practices and continued to implement innovative energy-saving approaches across its premise. In addition to energy efficiency practices, KLGCC manages its resources in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), 13 (Climate Action) and 14 (Life Below Water).
