Ara Damansara, 6 August 2018 – It was a thorny affair but the results are in and it’s official. The best D24 durian in the country is from Planters’ Haven, a unique development from Sime Darby Property Berhad.
The opulent texture of D24 durians from Planters’ Haven West came out tops in the World Durian Championship 2018: Malaysia Edition, which was held at the Bangi Golf Resort over the weekend recently. D24 durians from Planters’ Haven East won second place.

Planters’ Haven’s D24 durians edged out rivals from across the country. The awards was organized as part of a durian festival that attracted thousands of durian lovers from across the country. Durians were judged based on their presentation, taste, texture, colour, aroma and after taste.

“We knew our D24 durians were unique when visitors keep reminding us about it. We served them at an event recently and people were still talking about the D24 a week after it was over,” said General Manager Mohamad Jalani Mohamad Said.
