Sime Darby Property Secures 85% Tenancy for KLGCC Mall Ahead of Soft Opening in Q4 2025

Sime Darby Property marked another milestone with the successful Tenant Engagement Event for Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (“KLGCC”) Mall, held recently ahead of the mall’s upcoming opening in October 2025.

KLGCC Mall celebrates a major milestone with a successful Tenant Engagement Event, reinforcing strong retailer confidence with 85% committed occupancy secured ahead of launch.

With 85% committed occupancy as of July 2025, the mall has garnered strong support from retailers and business partners. reflecting strong confidence in its concept and location. Situated within the prestigious KLGCC Resort, the mall introduces a reimagined approach to neighbourhood retail, featuring a curated selection of brands tailored to community needs and designed to offer memorable family-oriented experiences.

KLGCC Mall is Sime Darby Property’s third fully-owned mall, following the success of KL East Mall and Elmina Lakeside Mall, both of which have achieved full occupancy. Spanning a Net Lettable Area (“NLA”) of 240,000 sq. ft., the mall is part of an integrated development that includes Menara KLGCC and Senada Residences. It is designed to serve Sime Darby Property’s flagship KL township of KLGCC Resort as well as key surrounding neighbourhoods such as Bukit Damansara, Mont Kiara, Sri Hartamas, Bangsar, and Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

KLGCC Mall will feature a thoughtfully curated mix of tenants, bringing together household names and new-to-market brands across lifestyle, dining, wellness, and leisure categories. The anchor tenants include Jaya Grocer, which will debut its first gourmet-style concept store, and the renowned Serai Group, which will anchor a dedicated lifestyle and dining zone on Level Four. This is complemented by the Serai Event Hall on Level Three, designed to host weddings, corporate functions and lifestyle gatherings.

Other key tenants include HarborLand, Thailand’s biggest leading indoor playland operator, making its Malaysian debut; ACE Hardware; Asia Ballet Academy; and Morph, a Hyrox and functional fitness training that integrates reformer Pilates, calisthenics, parkour, and a wellness zone for recovery therapies. Each of these brands contribute to a well-rounded, lifestyle-focused and family-oriented destination. In addition, the mall will also feature popular names such as Lax. Retreat, Toys “R” Us, Huckleberry, Khatam, Banglo 289, Smith Breads & Café, Mokky’s Pizza & Coffee, and Thai Odyssey, among others.

KLGCC Mall will also welcome a diverse mix of new-to-market brands and first-in-Malaysia concepts, including Fiel by Kay’s Steak & Lobster, Coast & Roast, Goyo, a Jeju-inspired hair salon, ParaThai Signature, Bad Scones, and Eden Social Club. Several brands, such as Kualesa and Inari Jewellery, will be launching their first-ever brick-and-mortar outlets at the mall. Adding to this distinctive mix is the return of Siti Li Dining and Pasta Zanmai, bringing back much-loved culinary names in a refreshed setting.

Building on its distinctive retail offering, KLGCC Mall will also feature event-centric spaces such as a rooftop amphitheatre overlooking the award-winning golf course. The mall is set to host cultural showcases, lifestyle activities and community-led programmes, further strengthening Sime Darby Property’s commitment to meaningful placemaking and community engagement. As a dynamic community hub, the mall is set to bring people together through a variety of community-driven events, including festive celebrations, flea markets, and cultural gatherings — all designed to foster connection and a strong sense of belonging.

With excellent accessibility via major highways including Sprint, Federal Highway, Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (“LDP”), and New Klang Valley Expressway (“NKVE”), KLGCC Mall is easily reached by both neighbourhood residents and the wider public. A shuttle service will be provided to and from MRT Phileo Damansara, with additional pick-up points across key neighbouring catchments. More than just a shopping destination, the mall is designed to serve as both a retail hub and a community space.
