ARA DAMANSARA, 24 October 2025 – Sime Darby Property Berhad (“Sime Darby Property” or the “Group”) today celebrated the soft opening of Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (“KLGCC”) Mall, its latest retail landmark designed to be the social and cultural heart of KLGCC Resort.

KLGCC Mall brings together community engagement, culinary discovery and creative pursuits, anchored by Jaya Grocer Signature, Serai Group’s “The Grounds of Serai” and Serai Hall, ACE Hardware, Asia Ballet Academy, and the first HarborLand kids playland in Malaysia. The event was attended by Sime Darby Property’s board of directors as well as management team, business partners, tenants, and guests, featuring multicultural performances symbolising unity and the start of a new retail chapter for the township. To kick off its opening programme, the mall will co-host the “State of Mind: Art-Tech-Wellness Exhibition Experience”, a dynamic collaboration with MahsuriShark Gallery running until 6 November. This immersive event invites visitors to explore the intersection of art and technology through a variety of interactive experiences. Highlights include an Augmented Reality (“AR”) art exhibition, a virtual art gallery, digital collectibles hunt, a community-built virtual sculpture, motion studio, art competition, and a full schedule of art-tech workshops and talks, offering deep dives into the future of creativity.
